Making Progress
While the next build is not quite ready for public release it's coming on strong. With tilemaps, their corresponding workspace and the way the program handles tiles and images all being rewritten. At the time of writing this is about 80% done. During this process the way the workspace handles tools has been tightened up as well. So, the selection tool should work more like how you would expect a standard selection tool to.
From hereon the Windows build will be released concurrently with the .deb. However, I'm thinking of abandoning the .deb and using AppImage instead. I think it's a better way to handle third-party dependencies. Namely: ImageMagick and FLTK. I'm considering FlatPak too but I need to look into it more.
