Of A Sizeable Improvement
Thank you for your continued interest, or new, piqued interest.
Resizing is finally, finally (half) implemented. There was a one pixel offset that was causing a logical error where the API's own resizing method would not function as intended-- one pixel. I say half because I need to implement min/max values for the separate frames. All in due time. In the next few days I am going to focus on re-implementing the tilemapping functions.
Work has already started on re-working the tilemap functions. The way tiles are handled has again been changed. With a single tile type being used across the program instead of a cherry picking modular approach. They call the former Premature Optimisation, and it is very embarrassing.
Another thing is consolidating the edit tileset window into a folding panel. It is not for purely aesthetic reasons, it is for optimisation. In addition to this more options for importing images as tilesets have been implemented. This should hopefully make importing rich, detailed and unoptimised images less frustrating.
